How SourceNet sourcing works

SourceNet is a multi-provider sourcing desk for business voice and connectivity. Sam Sapp, the owner, reviews requests, confirms requirements, and helps compare options from providers we can access. The provider you choose delivers the service. SourceNet stays on the sourcing and coordination side.

  • Multi-vendor shortlist
  • Plain tradeoff notes

What you receive

A serious request produces a concrete package, not a logo parade. Timing depends on how complete your scope is. We do not publish a fixed quote count or same-hour SLA.

  • Scope summary: seats or sites, must-haves, timeline, and service interest restated
  • Shortlist: a few workable paths when fit and availability exist
  • Tradeoff notes: contracts, implementation constraints, and what each path is poor at
  • Caveats: address coverage, credit, and product rules still apply
  • Next step: you choose; we help coordinate close and provider onboarding

The path in plain steps

Every serious request follows the same backbone. Details change by product, but the order stays honest.

  • Request: you submit seats, sites, service interest, and timeline
  • Qualify: we confirm scope and filter residential or incomplete spam
  • Source options: multi-carrier and multi-platform paths from the catalogs we work with
  • Present quotes: comparable choices with plain tradeoffs
  • Close and fulfill: we help coordinate sales close and provider onboarding
  • Ongoing: support when you need adds, moves, or a second look at contracts

How compensation works

There is no fee to start a quote request. If you proceed with a provider we help place, SourceNet may be compensated by that provider. Recommendations and availability depend on the requirements of your project and the providers we can access. You still choose the provider and sign with them.

Illustrative shortlist preview (not a real customer artifact)

Below is a teaching example of how a comparison might be framed. Names and figures are made up for clarity. Your shortlist will use real products, real availability, and your scope.

  • Path A · Cloud UCaaS seats · Strong softphones and admin · 12 to 36 month term class · Needs solid broadband or DIA under softphones · Tradeoff: more suite features than a desk-phone-only team may use
  • Path B · Hosted PBX-style package · Extension and auto-attendant focus · Term class similar · Desk phones first · Tradeoff: lighter collaboration suite
  • Path C · Teams Phone path · Fits if Microsoft 365 is already the hub · License and calling-plan complexity · Tradeoff: different admin model than classic UCaaS
  • Path D · No-fit note · Example: two seats, consumer-only need · Outcome: we would say multi-vendor business sourcing is overkill

What SourceNet does

We translate buyer language into quoteable scope. We keep comparison multi-vendor. We focus on multi-seat voice and sticky connectivity because those projects justify serious follow-up. For the desk model and brand note, see About.

Multi-vendor reality without logo soup

Multi-vendor sourcing means more than one provider can be quoted for many products. Availability still depends on your addresses, credit, and product rules. It is a sourcing method, not a promise that every brand serves every suite.

When nothing is a fit

Connectivity and multi-seat voice are long-lived services. That aligns us with options that still make sense a year later. If a project is a poor fit, we would rather say so early than force a shortlist.

FAQ

How is SourceNet paid?

There is no fee to start a quote request. If you proceed with a provider we help place, SourceNet may be compensated by that provider. Recommendations still depend on product fit and availability.

Who chooses the provider?

You do. We present comparable options with tradeoffs. The provider you accept delivers and supports the service.

How many quotes will I get?

When a fit exists, expect a short shortlist of workable paths, not dozens of logos. Count depends on scope and catalog coverage. We do not promise a fixed number.

What if my address has no coverage for the product I want?

We say so and may suggest alternate product classes, longer construction, or a pause. Address checks beat national marketing maps.

What does implementation look like after I choose?

The provider runs onboarding: ports, installs, user setup, or circuit construction as the product requires. We help coordinate. Timelines vary by ports, hardware, building access, and complexity.

What if no option is a good fit?

We tell you. Common outcomes: change product class, adjust scope, or stop. Forcing a bad match helps no one.

Who will contact me?

Sam Sapp, the owner, reviews quote requests and follows up by email or phone based on the details you provide. The process can start as soon as the request is received, but provider response times vary.

Can I bring an existing quote to compare?

Yes. Paste context in notes. We can pressure-test scope even when you already have paper from a single vendor.

Ready for options?

Request quotes matched to your seats, sites, and timeline. Vendor-neutral sourcing through SourceNet.
